Dr. Ammons’ awesome, the staff is awesome. Yes, today was my first day at Dr. Michael Ammons office. I was coming in as a new patient to have a dental cleaning done and to be examined by the doctor. The process was so seamless. I was very amazed and impressed at how easily it flowed. I had the pleasure of seeing a wonderful young lady named Donna, who took some nice x-rays on me and the doctor came and evaluated me. Then I went and saw the dental hygienist, whose name is John. I could only speak wonders about this. This hygienist is amazing. I’ve had my teeth cleaned for 52 years and by far this is the best dental cleaning I’ve ever received in my life. Completely painless and completely comfortable. Did not even realize a dental cleaning could be so thorough. I also found out that John actually comes from Columbia. He does not even live in Summerville. Dr. Ammons has made a great great effort to bringing the best his patients can actually receive and it shows from the care you do receive in his office.

Hi my name is Larry Hearns. I’m a 71 year old patient of Dr. Michael Ammons. I would like to express my appreciation for his treatment to improve my dental health and well being. During routine visits I was encouraged to have something done with two or three broken and missing teeth. I was comfortable with my situation and felt I could function just fine with damaged teeth. I had a work-around that was a little awkward but manageable. I was extremely adamant about not having dental implants and apprehensive as a result of my research and a referral. However, Dr. Ammons presented me three comprehensive proposals, two of which were less complicated than having implants. After thorough discussion, I chose to have implants. My wisdom served me well. I can honestly say that I am perfectly satisfied with the implant procedure. Nothing more than a couple of weeks of a few meds and normal dental care are required while tissue repairs itself.
